Terms & Conditions

1. Payments

  • Fees must be paid in full, upfront, for half a term at a time.
  • Your child’s place in class is only confirmed once payment has been received.
  • We cannot offer refunds or credits for missed classes.


2. Attendance

  • Please let us know if your child will miss a class.
  • Regular attendance is important for progress and for group work (especially before shows/exams).
  • If your child also attends another dance school or similar setting, please let us know so we can be aware of any possible timetable or commitment clashes.


3. Uniform & Hair

  • The correct dance uniform must be worn to every class.
  • Hair must be neatly tied back (in a bun for ballet).
  • No jewellery, watches, or accessories during class for safety reasons.


4. Behaviour & Respect

  • Students are expected to behave respectfully towards teachers and other students.
  • Parents are expected to show respect towards staff and students at all times.
  • Misconduct by either students or parents may result in being asked to leave the school.


5. Health & Safety

  • Please inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, or additional needs when enrolling.
  • Parents remain responsible for their child before and after class times.
  • Students should bring a water bottle to every class.
  • No nut-based snacks are allowed in the studio or waiting areas due to allergy risks.


6. Communication

  • All important updates will be sent by [email/WhatsApp/newsletter]. Please make sure your contact details are up to date.
  • If teachers are busy before or after class, please email any concerns instead of approaching during changeover.
  • For general updates, you may also check with designated Parent Representatives.


7. Photography & Media

  • Parents are not allowed to take photographs or videos during lessons.
  • We may take photos/videos during classes, rehearsals, or performances for promotional use.
  • Please let us know in writing if you do not want your child to be included.


8. Performances & Rehearsals

  • If you sign your child up for a performance, they must attend all required rehearsals.
  • Missing rehearsals may mean your child cannot take part in the performance.


9. Safeguarding

  • We follow safeguarding policies to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Parents are asked not to stay in the studio unless invited (except for trial sessions or “watching days”).


10. Leaving the School

  • If you decide to leave, we require half a term’s written notice.
  • Without notice, fees for the next half term will still be due.
